The concept for the Tatami House was an updated Japanese inspired courtyard house.  Concrete, glazed tiles, teak trim and naturalistic elements contribute to an organic, sophisticated design for this transitional home.  3D modeling was used and photorealistic rendering techniques to convey materials and lighting.
